Brands with a Unique Voice

I love brands that use humor to draw there audience in. With social media on the rise, a majority of brands are starting to realize they need a standout social media presence to compete with other brands. I see brands using humor the most, not just because it is the easiest form of a voice, but it seems to have the best affect. Humans love to laugh, and they love social media, so why not put those two things together to promote your brand. Natural Light did just that. They blew up on the Twitter world because they used humor to there advantage. A majority of Natural Light consumers are young adults, who use twitter on a daily basis, so that was the best way for Natural light to connect with there audience. They keep it personal to there brand on every post. Doing so by altering trends to fit there beer product. Besides following trends, Natural Light also uses humor to there advantage. Post after post will make you laugh. Honestly they are the “stupidest” tweets ever, but that is what makes them funny. Another thing I like is how they pull other brands into there posts, not making fun of them, but bringing them in on the humor by either doing a full collaboration with them or just conversing on Twitter. Natural Light has made humor there go to voice and it has been working extremely well for them.

Below are a few examples of there tweets. Turning trends into there own and collabing with other brands like Peanuts and Home Depot. Though the Home Depot tweet was not an offcial collab, they still mentioned them in a postivie way, while still having fun.
